About this job
This is an over-the-road job delivering brand-new Freightliner trucks to dealerships and fleet customers across the country. You move trucks, not freight, so there are no trailers, live loads or dock waits. The company is looking for experienced CDL A drivers, especially those coming from flatbed, step deck, heavy haul, open deck, auto haul or standard OTR work.
Pay
- Posted pay is $2,000 to $2,200 a week, described as a $2,000 weekly average.
- Training and orientation are paid.
How the work goes
- You sleep in company-paid hotels every night instead of living in a sleeper.
- After each delivery the company flies you back to the terminal for your next assignment, and you keep your airline and hotel reward points.
- Fuel and tolls are covered.
- Expect to be out 2-3 weeks at a time.
Requirements
- CDL A license.
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Manual transmission experience.
- Open deck, flatbed or OTR background is a plus; a doubles/triples endorsement is preferred.
