CDL-A Transfer Driver — Home Daily, $28/hr

Our company needs a CDL-A driver in Newburgh, NY to move empty trailers between customer sites on a local run. You'll be home every night, working Tuesday through Saturday, with no freight to load or unload.

Pay

• $28.00 per hour, paid out weekly

• Typical weekly earnings land around $1,120 or more

Home time

• Local, home-daily position

• Tuesday through Friday shifts begin at 3:30pm; Saturday starts at 7:00am

What you'll haul

• Empty equipment trailers shuttled between our company customer locations

• No-touch freight, so no loading or unloading

• Equipment is kept in good shape, no older than 36 months, backed by round-the-clock roadside assistance

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Able to pass a drug screen, background check, driving record review, and DOT physical

• Able to pass a road test

• Current Class A CDL with the needed endorsements

• Class A driving experience you can document: either 9 months within the last 3 years, 2 years within the last 5, or 5 years within the last 10
