About this job
Our company is hiring team drivers for bulk tanker work out of McIntosh, Alabama. You will haul cryogenic industrial gases to customer sites in a truck assigned to your team only. The company says drivers average $125,000 a year each.
What you'll haul
- Liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, CO2 and hydrogen in tractor-trailer tankers
- Some deliveries may be to government sites that require extensive background checks and tighter security rules
What you'll do
- Complete and report inspections before and after each trip
- Couple and uncouple trailers (drop and hook) as needed
- Hook up and disconnect transfer hoses, and handle the cryogenic tanks and fittings safely
- Watch pressure and temperature while unloading
- Keep hazmat shipping papers, logbooks and records in line with DOT and company rules
- Flag vehicle repair and maintenance needs promptly
Pay and schedule
- Average of $125,000 per year per driver
- Weekly direct deposit and a monthly safety bonus
- Six days on, two days off, with back-to-back days off
- Clean work with no strapping

Requirements
- At least 5 years of tractor-trailer experience, including 2 years on tankers
- High school diploma or GED
