CDL-A Tanker Driver — Home Daily, $55,704–$76,646/yr

This is a home-daily CDL-A driving job based in Lewisburg, TN, with Parrish Dedicated Services. You will haul non-hazardous liquid and bulk solid materials between Reworld facilities and customer sites, using a mix of specialized equipment.

Pay

• Pay range for this location: $55,704.00 - $76,646.00

• The final offer depends on your experience, education, skills, location and any union contract that applies.

• Level, title and salary may be adjusted based on your background.

Home time and schedule

• Home daily

• Start time between 5 and 7 AM

• Shifts run 10 to 12 hours

What you'll haul and drive

• Non-hazardous liquid and bulk solid waste materials

• Equipment includes tankers, vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks, walking floor trailers and box trucks

What the day looks like

• Haul loads safely under DOT rules and company safety policies.

• Load and unload at customer and facility sites.

• Inspect your vehicle before and after each trip and report any problems.

• Follow set routes and schedules and keep service commitments.

• Fill out manifests, bills of lading, driver logs, inspection reports and delivery paperwork.

• Stay in touch with dispatch, operations, customers and other drivers about schedules, route changes and service needs.

• Report incidents, maintenance concerns and safety issues promptly.

• Deal with customers professionally and represent Reworld well.

• Help with other field and transportation tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid CDL Class A with a tanker endorsement

• 2 years or more of CDL driving experience

• An acceptable driving record

Nice to have

• Experience with tankers, vacuum trucks, roll-offs, walking floor trailers or similar equipment

• Background in waste management, environmental or industrial services, or bulk hauling

• High school diploma or GED

• Willingness to get a TWIC card later if needed

Physical demands

• Walk, stand, sit, bend and climb through the workday.

• Lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds.

• Get in and out of commercial vehicles many times a day.

• Work outdoors in all kinds of weather.

• See and hear well enough to operate commercial vehicles and equipment safely.
