CDL-A Tanker Driver — Home Daily, $29-$32/Hour

Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to haul raw milk from farms to processing plants near Farmersville Station, NY. You'll be home every day and work a rotating schedule.

What you'll haul

• Raw milk, moved by tank trailer from farms or depots to DFA plants

• Routes cover city streets, highways and rural roads

• You'll follow dispatch instructions from driver supervisors

• Duties include pulling quality control samples at farms, measuring loaded milk, and keeping idle time and fuel use low

• You'll also handle hoses, climb ladders to hook/unhook trailers, check load and seal numbers against paperwork, and take apart, clean and reassemble trailer pumps to keep things food-grade clean

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL in your state of residence

• Tanker endorsement, or willing to get one

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• At least 1 year of CDL driving experience, or a recent graduate of an FMCSA-approved driving school

• Minimum age 21

• Understanding of DOT rules and safety practices

• Must pass MVR, DOT and background checks

• Clear spoken and written English

• Comfortable with basic math and measurements

• Able to work independently

• Expected to represent the company professionally with customers and regulators
