CDL-A Tanker Driver — $90,000–$130,000/Year, Guaranteed Home Time

Our company, a family-owned carrier in Avon, NY, is looking for an experienced Class A driver to run local and over-the-road routes hauling liquid and dry bulk freight. Home time is guaranteed, and the role pays well for drivers comfortable with tank and pneumatic equipment.

What you'll haul

• Food-grade liquids in tank trailers

• Dry bulk goods in pneumatic trailers

What the job involves

• Running tractor-trailer routes both locally and long-haul

• Loading and unloading freight while keeping food safety standards intact

• Handling tanker and pneumatic rigs

• Doing pre- and post-trip checks and flagging any equipment problems

• Staying on top of logs, delivery records, and paperwork

• Sticking to DOT rules and the procedures set by the company and its customers

• Staying in clear contact with dispatch, customers, and fellow drivers

Requirements

• Class A CDL with a tanker endorsement

• Previous experience driving commercial trucks

• Ability to handle tanker and pneumatic trailers

• Comfortable using e-logs and tablets

• A clean driving history

• Solid grasp of the rules and regulations that govern trucking
