About this job
Our company in Columbia, MO needs a shuttle driver to move trailers between the warehouse and shuttle yard locations. You'll work 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday nights, and you're home every day after your shift.

- $1,250 per week

- 3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday nights (may vary)

What you'll haul
- You'll drive a tandem trailer, tractor-trailer, and/or straight truck, moving empty trailers to the warehouse and bringing full trailers back to the shuttle yard
- Doubles endorsement required since this route involves pulling tandem trailers
What you'll do
- Run pre- and post-trip inspections on your tractor and trailer
- Hook and unhook trailers safely
- Keep freight secured and report any safety concerns
- Bring back damaged goods or customer returns and handle the related paperwork
- Log your hours of service each day
- Keep your truck and the dock area clean
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with a doubles endorsement
- At least 6 months of commercial driving experience
- Must be 21 or older
- Clean driving record for the past 3 years
- High school diploma or GED
- Current DOT health card, or able to get one
- Able to pass a drug screen, background check, and road test
- Comfortable lifting and moving freight weighing roughly 10 to 90 pounds using hand tools like a two-wheeler or lift gate
