CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — $75K–$85K/yr, One Night Layover/Week

Our company, a locally owned carrier based in Buffalo, NY, is adding 4 CDL-A drivers due to growth and retirements. You'll run set regional lanes in new equipment with a predictable weekly schedule.

Routes and schedule

• Based out of Buffalo, NY; you must live within 40 miles of the terminal

• Runs stay within a 400 mile radius of Buffalo, with one night layover and 3 trips per week

• Every trip starts and ends in Buffalo, with front hauls and back-hauls already arranged before you leave

• Typical weekly mileage runs 2,300 to 2,500 miles across the 3 trips

What you'll haul

• Palletized, no-touch dry freight, mostly full truckload

• You load and unload nothing yourself

Equipment

• 2023 or 2024 sleeper tractors, 450 HP, 12-speed automatic

• 53 ft dry vans with swing doors

• Each driver gets their own assigned truck

Pay

• Mileage pay of $0.57 to $0.62 per mile, described as competitive

• Per diem and detention pay included

• Sign-on bonus offered

• Annual earnings typically fall between $75,000 and $85,000

Requirements

• Valid CDL with a clean driving record

• Experience in route driving and delivery work

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Comfortable with pre-trip and post-trip inspections, accurate logs, and staying DOT compliant
