CDL-A Regional Driver — No-Touch Freight, Home Weekly or Every Other Night

This role is with a locally owned carrier that hauls dedicated freight exclusively for Amazon's transportation network out of Mount Juliet / Nashville, using brand-new 2027 Amazon-branded sleeper tractors. All freight is 100% drop-and-hook dry van, so there's no manual loading or unloading.

Pay

Pay ranges from $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year.

Home time

Two schedule options: the Solo 5 route has you out 5 days with 2 consecutive days (3 nights) home every week, on steady regional corridors. The Solo 2 route runs 300-500 miles round trip per shift with you home every second day, offered as either 4 days on/3 off or 4 on/4 off, with day or night shift blocks available.

What you'll haul

You'll drive brand-new, automatic Class A sleeper tractors pulling 53-foot dry van trailers on dedicated Amazon regional and local routes. Trucks come equipped with APUs, refrigerators, microwaves and other driver amenities. All loads are drop-and-hook, with no touch freight involved.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 with a valid Class A CDL

• At least 3 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience

• Clean driving record and acceptable DAC report, with no current suspensions or revocations

• Valid DOT medical card and ability to pass a DOT physical, background check, and drug/alcohol screening

• Comfortable using ELD systems and GPS, and resting in a sleeper cab during route blocks

• Able to read, speak and write English to DOT standards

What you'll do

• Safely operate the tractor-trailer on assigned routes

• Complete digital pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Hook and unhook trailers during drop-and-hook stops

• Keep ELD logs current and stay in touch with dispatch
