CDL-A Regional Driver — 5 On/2 Off, Approx $85,000/yr

Our company, an Amazon Freight Partner, is looking for Class A CDL drivers to run regional drop-and-hook routes out of its Woodbridge, NJ yard. This is a consistent, full-time schedule hauling Amazon freight only, with no touch freight involved.

Pay

• Starting hourly rate of $24.00

• Paid weekly, by direct deposit or paper check

• Full-time hours averaging 60.0-65.0 per week, with overtime and extra work during the November-December peak season

• Total yearly earnings around $85,000 or more

• Quarterly bonuses for safety and performance, plus a referral bonus program

• A $500 bonus after 90 days of full-time work

Schedule and routes

• Regional runs on a steady 5 days on, 2 days off rotation

• Morning and evening start times available

• Routes begin and end at the Woodbridge, NJ yard, covering roughly 1,500-1,800 miles per 5-day block

Equipment and freight

• New diesel sleeper cabs with automatic transmissions, updated safety features and driver-assist technology

• All loads are drop and hook, no touch freight

• You'll use GPS systems, smartphone apps and Amazon's logistics technology on the job

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 6 months of CDL-A driving experience outside of training school

• Minimum age 21

• Familiarity with electronic logging devices and drop-and-hook procedures, and comfort handling a 53-foot tractor trailer

• Able to speak, read and write English well enough to communicate with yard and guard staff, read road signs, and complete app-based reports

• Clean driving record with no current suspension or past revocation

• Must pass a DOT physical, drug screening and background check
