CDL-A Reefer Truck Driver — No Experience Required

This dedicated reefer route out of Hillsboro, TX is open to new CDL-A graduates, running OTR lanes such as TX to TN, TX to IL, TX to GA, PA to VA, and IN to IL.

Pay

• Typical weekly earnings run $1,300 to $1,500, based on running 1,800 to 2,000 miles per week

• You'll also earn $25 per stop and $25 for the first extra unload

• New drivers get guaranteed pay for the first 3 months after their first solo dispatch

• A driver performance bonus is also available

Home time

• Plan to be out for about two weeks at a time, though this can vary depending on your location

• Shifts run both day and night

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated (reefer) freight

• Mix of live load, live unload, preload, and drop-and-hook work

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A

• At least 120 hours of truck driving school completed

• A reasonably clean driving and safety record (minor issues are fine)

• Able to pass a DOT physical, including urine and hair testing

• At least 21 years old, with no DUIs, felony convictions, or recent at-fault accidents
