About this job
Our company, based near Port Newark/Elizabeth, needs dependable container drivers for drayage work. You'll move containers between the port terminals and nearby yards on a steady, local schedule.
What you'll haul
- Container pickups and drop-offs at Port Newark and Port Elizabeth terminals
- Hauls to and from nearby yards
- Staying in touch with dispatch throughout your shift for updates
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Getting loads delivered safely and on time
Pay
$30.00 per hour, paid weekly by direct deposit.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, local routes, home every day.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A
- TWIC card
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Port or container hauling experience is a plus
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable working in a busy port setting
