CDL-A Pneumatic Tanker Driver — Home Daily, $85K–$95K/Year

Bulkmatic is looking for a CDL-A driver in Saint Joseph, MO to haul dry bulk freight using pneumatic trailers. This role involves more hands-on work than typical trucking jobs, since you'll be loading and unloading with the pneumatic system in addition to driving. No prior pneumatic experience is needed, as full training is provided.

Home time

You'll be home daily in this position. On the rare night you're away, the company covers your hotel stay. Weekend work rotates, so expect to work roughly every other weekend.

Pay

Drivers out of Saint Joseph typically earn between $85,000 and $95,000 per year, paid out weekly.

Bonus

A $3,000 sign-on bonus is currently available. There's also a weekly safety incentive pay that was recently increased, letting you add extra earnings each week. Ask the recruiter for details.

What you'll haul

Expect your day split roughly two-thirds driving and one-third handling loading, unloading and pneumatic equipment operation, along with some customer interaction.

Requirements

• At least 23 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with a minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer experience

• Driving experience must fall within the last 10 years, ideally within the last 5

• Meets FMCSA physical and medical certification standards and isn't disqualified from operating a commercial vehicle under FMCSA rules

• Holds a CDL-A valid in your state of residence, or can obtain one within 30 days if you've recently relocated

• Clean or acceptable driving record

• Able to safely inspect and operate equipment
