CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — Up to $2,957.43/Week

Our company in League City, TX is looking for an OTR CDL driver to run long-distance freight routes hauling dry van loads.

Pay

• $2,455.72 to $2,957.43 per week

What you'll haul

• This position is for dry van freight only

What you'll do

• Drive tractor-trailers on long-haul routes while following FMCSA and DOT rules

• Use GPS to plan routes and keep deliveries on schedule

• Load and unload freight by hand, securing it properly for the road

• Run pre-trip and post-trip checks on your truck, trailer, brakes, lights, tires and safety gear

• Log your hours, deliveries and cargo using an electronic logging device

• Stay in touch with dispatch about routes, delivery progress and any problems on the road

Requirements

• Valid CDL with endorsements needed for OTR driving

• Solid experience driving commercial trucks and hauling freight long distance

• Comfortable driving a manual transmission and handling freight by hand

• Familiar with GPS navigation and route planning

• Understanding of FMCSA, DOT and general trucking safety rules

• Able to handle the physical demands of loading and unloading freight
