About this job
Our company is looking for Class A CDL drivers for over-the-road runs, with paid training available for new drivers through a driver mentor program.
Pay
- Earn $1,300 to $1,500 per week
- Experienced over-the-road or regional drivers may qualify for experienced pay rates
Home time
- Run 2 weeks over-the-road, then get 2 days at home
What you'll haul
- Long haul routes driving a Class A tractor trailer
- Average weekly mileage runs 2,500 to 3,200 miles
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL
- CDL school certificate showing at least 120 hours of training
- Clean driving record and background check
- Able to pass a DOT drug screening
- New drivers welcome through the paid trainee program with a driver mentor
What the job involves
- Complete all required pre- and post-trip inspections
- Get freight delivered safely and on time
- Keep accurate logs and trip paperwork
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch and driver managers
