CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — Paid Training, Home Every 2–3 Weeks

This is a CDL-A OTR dry van driving job based out of Las Cruces, NM, open to both experienced drivers and new CDL-A graduates with paid training available. You'd run freight across a 27-state area, mostly east of Denver and excluding New England, with weekly pay that varies by experience and miles driven.

Pay

• Experienced solo drivers: about $1,320.45–$1,970.67 per week, depending on miles and pay package

• Starting rate: $0.50 per mile under the 6-month pay band

• Trainee pay: $650 per week while training in New Mexico

• $15 stop pay

• Possible 3-month pay guarantee after your first solo dispatch

• Performance bonus opportunities

• About 1,800–2,400 miles per week

Home time

Home every 2–3 weeks, depending on your schedule. Day and night schedules are available, and weekend work is required, though holiday time off can be requested.

What you'll haul

• Dry van freight across roughly 27 states, generally east of Denver, Colorado, excluding New England

• Mix of live loading/unloading, preloaded trailers, and drop-and-hook

• Be ready for cold-weather and changing driving conditions

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• New CDL-A grads and experienced drivers both welcome

• No endorsements required

• Must meet DOT and company safety standards

• Comfortable staying out 2–3 weeks at a time

• SAP drivers not accepted

• Must live within about 500 miles of ZIP 88001 (Las Cruces, NM)
