CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — Dry Van — Average $1,100/Week

Swift Transportation is looking for OTR drivers based out of Tucson, AZ to run dry van freight coast-to-coast with a mix of lane options.

Pay

• Drivers average $1,100 per week

• Trip pay runs $0.43 to $0.58 per mile based on dispatched miles, route, and your verifiable experience

• $15 stop pay

• Paychecks issued weekly

• Starting July 13, 2026, new OTR company drivers are guaranteed at least $1,000 per week during their first 90 days of solo driving (terms apply - ask a recruiter for details)

Home time

• Home monthly

What you'll haul

• Dry van freight, OTR, with a range of load types

Requirements

• Class A CDL, minimum age 21

• No current disqualification from operating a commercial vehicle under any federal, state, or local rule

• No more than 1 preventable on-road or DOT loss in the last 2 years, no more than 3 preventable accidents in the last 2 years, and no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

• No serious traffic violations in the past year, and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• No conviction for transporting, possessing, or illegally using Schedule 1 drugs while on duty within the last 3 years

• Strong backing skills

• May involve driving on holidays
