About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to run over-the-road routes hauling freight that includes specialized equipment loads. You'll handle tractor-trailers and flatbeds, manage long hauls, and keep cargo secure and on schedule.
What you'll do
- Operate tractor-trailers and flatbed equipment on long-distance OTR runs, staying within FMCSA and DOT rules
- Load and unload freight by hand, making sure everything is properly secured for the road
- Use GPS to plan routes and adjust in real time for traffic and delivery windows
- Keep accurate records of hours, delivery paperwork, and inspection reports
- Check your truck before and after every trip and flag any mechanical problems right away
What you'll haul
Freight that includes loads requiring specialized equipment, moved on tractor-trailers and flatbeds.
Requirements
- CDL-A with solid commercial driving experience across varied routes and terrain
- Comfortable with manual transmission trucks and flatbed equipment
- Know-how in securing, loading, and unloading freight safely
- Skilled with GPS navigation for route planning
- Clean driving record and strong adherence to DOT safety rules
- Background in delivery driving, including load/unload work and dealing with customers

$85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
