CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $1,300–$1,500/Week, Trainees Welcome

Our company runs steady freight out of Texarkana, with routes connecting Texas to Tennessee, Illinois and Georgia. Both experienced drivers and brand-new CDL holders are welcome, with solid weekly pay either way.

Pay

• Average weekly gross runs $1,300 to $1,500

• Based on 1,800 to 2,000 miles a week on a sliding pay scale

• Earn $25 for each stop beyond the first

• Extra performance bonus available

• Guaranteed $1,000 a week for your first three months once you're solo

• $300 orientation pay, with travel costs covered

New to trucking

• New CDL holders ride along with an experienced trainer for 4 to 6 weeks of paid OTR training

• Training pays $850 a week

• Move straight into full solo pay once training wraps up

What you'll haul

• Temperature-controlled trailers

• Mix of drop and hook, preloads, and live loading/unloading

• Primary lanes connect Texas with Tennessee, Illinois and Georgia

Home time

• Expect to be home roughly every 2 weeks, depending on your location

• Riders and pets can join you once training is complete

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL

• New drivers need at least 120 hours of training from an accredited CDL school

• Experienced drivers need 6 months of OTR driving in the past year, or 12+ months within the last 5 years

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years

• No major preventable accidents within the last 5 years

• No DUI or DWI within the past 5 to 10 years

• Must pass hair and urine drug screening
