CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $0.70–$0.75/mile

Allied Modular Building Systems, a modular building manufacturer with facilities in Orange, CA, Nashville, TN, and Austin, TX, is looking for an experienced over-the-road Class A driver to join its Texas operation. You'll handle interstate freight moves, including overnight trips away from home.

What you'll do

• Move freight safely between locations across the region

• Follow all federal, state and company rules for the road

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks each day

• Keep accurate logs of your hours and deliveries

• Keep your truck clean and in good working order

• Stay in touch with dispatch and customers to coordinate drop-offs and handle any issues

• Stay current on industry rules and practices

• Help keep a positive, team-oriented atmosphere on the job

Pay

$0.70 - $0.75 per mile

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving history

• At least 3 years of OTR driving experience (2 years as a Class A driver minimum)

• Solid understanding of trucking regulations and industry standards

• Capable of lifting and handling heavy loads, up to 45 pounds

• Comfortable working solo or alongside a team

• Strong communication skills

• Able to navigate using maps, GPS and similar tools

This role doesn't involve supervising other employees. Expect some walking, sitting, reaching, and occasional lifting during the workday. Noise levels are generally low but can rise during busy periods, and the work area may get dusty at times.
