About this job
ACB Xpress Corp is looking for CDL-A team and solo drivers based in Florida to run OTR freight, mostly Amazon and LTL loads. Expect steady miles, light dry van freight and mostly drop-and-hook work with little waiting.
Pay
- Team drivers earn $0.95 per mile; solo drivers earn $0.80 per mile.
- Teams can make $4,000 – $6,000 per week, split between the two drivers.
- Team drivers get 5,800 miles guaranteed.
- Pay arrives by direct deposit every Friday and is reported on a 1099.
- You get paid once all assigned loads are completed on time.
- One posting line lists pay from $2,700.00 per week.
What you'll haul
- Light dry van freight, no-touch.
- Full truckload shipments on consistent linehaul routes, mostly Amazon loads.
- Most loads are drop and hook. After you deliver, you run bobtail and get dispatched to your next load.
Home time
- 4 weeks out, then 4 days home.
- Transportation is provided for your trip home.
Equipment
- Late-model 2024–2027 trucks from Volvo, Freightliner, International and Peterbilt.
- Team trucks come with a new mattress, a refrigerator and microwave, and an inverter.
- A tablet and ELD are supplied, along with a fuel card, Bestpass and PrePass.
What you'll do
- Drive the tractor-trailer safely, as a team where applicable.
- Follow DOT rules and company safety policies.
- Keep your logs and delivery paperwork accurate.
- Stay in touch with dispatch about routes and schedules.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A.
- At least 1 year of OTR experience.
- Able to read and speak English.
- Willing to travel full time (preferred).
- SAP drivers are not accepted.
