Local CDL-A Driver — $30.10/hr, Home Daily

Our company needs a solo Class A CDL driver for local day-cab runs out of the Pembroke Pines area, with you home every day. Pay is hourly and arrives weekly, and training is paid.

Pay

• $30.10 per hour, with 40 or more hours a week, which our company puts at $1204 or more weekly

• Paid weekly

• Paid training

Schedule and route

• Monday through Saturday, with start times anywhere from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM

• Local route, home daily, delivering within Florida

What you'll haul

• A 53' dry van behind a day cab

• Touch freight (retail goods), so a pallet jack is part of the job

• Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with 24/7 roadside help and fueling at 800+ our company maintenance locations

What you'll do

• Follow federal and state rules and company policies

• Watch for safety hazards and deal with them

• Keep your records and logs accurate

• Help load and unload when the customer asks

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Pass a drug test, DOT physical, road test, and a background and driving record check that includes 3 years of drug and alcohol history from past employers

• Hold the CDL and endorsements the job calls for

• Verifiable Class A experience, meeting any one of these: 9 months in the past 3 years, 2 years in the past 5, or 5 years in the past 10

• Able to follow written and spoken instructions and apply rules and procedures

• Some assignments add extra screening or customer badging requirements
