CDL-A OTR Reefer Driver — Home Monthly, $0.43-$0.58/Mile

Swift Transportation's Phoenix terminal needs OTR refrigerated drivers out of Black Canyon City, AZ. You'll run coast-to-coast lanes hauling temperature-controlled loads with a mix of route options.

Pay

• Trip pay runs $0.43 to $0.58 per mile, based on dispatched miles, route and your verifiable experience

• Top 25% of OTR reefer drivers at the Phoenix terminal bring home around $1200 a week

• Paychecks come weekly

• Vacation pay starts at $800 once you hit one year on the job

• Beginning July 13, 2026, eligible OTR company drivers get a guaranteed minimum of $1,000 a week for their first 90 days driving solo, under the Guaranteed Pay Plus+ program; ask a recruiter for the full terms

Home time

• You're home once a month

What you'll haul

• Temperature-controlled (reefer) freight

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL

• No DUI in the past 10 years for CDL-A holders, or past 5 years for non-CDL-A holders

• No more than 1 on-road or DOT-preventable loss in the last 2 years, no more than 3 preventable accidents in that span, and no major preventable accident in the last 5 years

• No serious traffic violations in the past year, and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen, with no drug-related conviction in the last 5 years and no illegal drug use or positive/refused tests in the last 10 years as a CDL-A or CLP holder

• Strong backing skills, and you may occasionally work holidays
