Run OTR dry van freight for a major nationwide carrier, covering all 48 states with most loads east of I-35. Freight is drop and hook or live load/unload, no touch required.
Pay
- Drivers with 3-23 months of experience earn $0.56 per mile
- Drivers with 2+ years of experience earn $0.60 per mile
- Weekly average pay runs $1,400-$1,525+
- Sign-on bonus of $2000-$7000, amount depends on location
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
Home time
- Schedule is flexible and can be adjusted to your needs
- Recommended pattern is 12 days out and 2 days home to maximize earnings
What you'll haul
- Dry van trailers, 53 feet
- Late model automatic Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth tractors
- Expect 2,000+ miles per week, with top 30% of drivers running 2,300-3,000+ miles weekly
- Average haul length is 400 miles
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- At least 3 months of experience driving a 53' tractor trailer within the past year
- Your CDL address must match the hiring area
- Hair follicle drug testing is required; SAP drivers are not accepted
