Drive dry van freight OTR for a major nationwide fleet, running mostly in the 48 states with most loads east of I-35. Expect a recommended 12 days out and 2 days home to maximize earnings, with flexible home time based on your needs.
Pay
- Drivers with 3-23 months of experience earn $0.56 per mile
- Drivers with 2+ years of experience earn $0.60 per mile
- Weekly average pay runs $1,400-$1,525+
- Sign-on bonus of $2000-$7000 depending on location
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
What you'll haul
- Dry van freight, drop & hook or live load/unload, no-touch
- Average haul length is 400 miles
- Expect 2,000+ miles per week, with the top 30% of drivers running 2,300-3,000+ miles weekly
Equipment
- Late-model automatic Freightliner Cascadias and Kenworths
Requirements
- At least 3 months of 53' tractor trailer experience within the past year
- CDL address must match the hiring area
- Hair follicle drug screening required; SAP drivers not accepted
