CDL-A OTR Driver — New & Experienced, $1,400–$1,600/wk Avg Once Solo

Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers near Hueytown, AL for OTR runs hauling 100% no-touch dry van freight. You get your own assigned truck, no slip seating, and a mentorship path if you're new to the seat. Both brand-new CDL-A holders and experienced drivers can apply.

Getting started

• You're paid $300 for orientation, and the company covers your transportation to get there

• If you're newly licensed, you'll go through a 3 to 5 week mentorship (roughly 200 to 250 hands-on hours) with guaranteed weekly pay the whole time

• If you already have solo experience and meet the requirements, you skip straight to running solo

What you'll haul

• Dry van freight only, and it's 100% no-touch

• You're assigned one truck for the job, a 2024 or newer Kenworth T680 or Freightliner Cascadia with an automatic transmission

• That same truck comes home with you on your days off

Home time

• Expect 14 days on the road followed by 2 full days home

Pay once you're solo

• Average gross pay runs $1,400 to $1,600 a week

• Drivers in the top 25% average as much as $1,800 a week gross

• Your earnings depend on CPM rate, miles run, and performance

• You're paid every week by direct deposit

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Hold a valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card

• Clean driving record and solid work history

• Able to pass a DOT drug screen and background check

• Meet all other DOT and company standards

Experience needed

• New to the industry: you'll need 120+ hours of training from an accredited CDL school and to finish the company's training program

• Experienced: at least 6 months of verifiable solo driving (time spent training with a mentor doesn't count toward this)
