About this job
This OTR position is open to SAP drivers who are on Step 6 in the Clearinghouse and have no more than one violation. You'll run long-haul routes, spending 3-4 weeks out at a stretch with about 4 days home each month, and may be able to take the truck home if you have a safe place to park it.
Pay
- Earn up to $0.65 per mile, with pay tied to your safe driving record
Home time
- Expect to be out 3-4 weeks at a time, with roughly 4 days home per month
- Taking the truck home is possible if you have secure parking for the truck and trailer
What you'll haul
- Refrigerated freight: boxed beef, chicken, pork, and beer
- About 70% of loads are drop and hook, and 99% are no-touch
Equipment
- Automatic transmission Kenworth T680 trucks
- Equipped with APUs, inverters, and an outward-facing camera
Requirements
- Must be at Step 6 in the Clearinghouse as part of the SAP program
- No more than one violation on record
