CDL-A OTR Company Driver — $2,000/Week Flat Pay

This is a full-time over-the-road company driver job hauling preplanned USPS mail loads on lanes east of I-35. You get a guaranteed weekly rate, an assigned late-model truck and mostly drop-and-hook freight.

Pay

• A flat $2,000 per week, no matter how many miles you run

• The posting cites average take-home of about $2,300 per week for consistent performers

• Typical volume is around 3,500 miles per week

• Paid every week by direct deposit

Where you'll run

• Midwest, South and Southeast lanes, east of I-35

• No West Coast and no far Northeast runs

• Home time is usually every 10-14 days, depending on performance and your preferences

What you'll do

• Drive a tractor-trailer on assigned, preplanned USPS routes

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Keep electronic logs accurate and stay within Hours of Service limits

• Secure your freight and deliver on schedule

• Stay in touch with dispatch and follow the route plan

• Follow DOT, FMCSA and company safety rules

Requirements

• Class A CDL and a clean driving record

• At least 3 months of verifiable OTR tractor-trailer experience

• Pass a DOT drug screen, background check and physical

• Ready to be away from home for extended stretches
