About this job
Our company, a family-owned carrier based in Midway, Arkansas, needs a full-time CDL-A driver to haul new boats from manufacturers to dealerships across the country on OTR routes.
Pay
- $0.50 per mile, paid on both loaded and empty miles
- $25 for each delivery stop beyond the first
What you'll haul
- New boats, moved from manufacturers to dealerships nationwide
- Company-supplied truck and specialized boat-hauling equipment
Responsibilities
- Load, secure, transport and unload boats safely
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep accurate electronic logs and stay DOT compliant
- Stay in touch with dispatch and dealership staff
- Look after your equipment and flag any maintenance needs
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record
- Able to meet DOT qualification standards
- Comfortable working independently and traveling nationwide
- Prior boat-hauling or specialized hauling experience is a plus, not required
