CDL-A Oil Field Truck Driver — $2,677.04–$3,223.96/wk

Our company in San Antonio, TX is hiring a Class A CDL driver to haul freight to oil field sites and distribution centers on over-the-road routes. You'll run heavy-duty tractor-trailers and specialized trailers, keeping energy sites supplied safely and on time.

Pay

• $2,677.04 - $3,223.96 per week

What you'll haul

• Freight including hazardous materials and other specialized cargo, hauled on long-distance routes

• Equipment may include flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers depending on the load

What the job involves

• Running pre-trip and post-trip checks on your truck and trailer to catch safety or maintenance issues early

• Planning routes with GPS for efficient OTR driving

• Loading and unloading cargo by hand or with equipment like forklifts, and securing it properly

• Logging your driving hours, deliveries, and inspections as required by DOT

• Staying in contact with dispatch and clients to keep deliveries and cargo issues on track

• Following FMCSA and DOT rules, including those for hazardous materials handling

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with proven commercial driving experience

• Solid knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations, hazardous materials rules, and driving safety standards

• Experience with flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers is a plus

• Comfortable using GPS for route planning

• Oil field or industrial freight delivery experience is a strong plus

• Able to safely handle manual loading and unloading tasks
