CDL-A Non-Hazmat Tanker Driver — $0.50–$0.65/mile

A.M. Express Inc. is a family-style carrier based in Escanaba, Michigan, with more than 25 years of hauling freight. It has openings for CDL-A drivers on local runs that get you home nightly and on OTR runs, mainly in non-hazmat tanker, with flatbed and dry van work also available.

Pay

• $0.50 to $0.65 per mile, paid weekly by direct deposit

• Sign-on bonus starting at $2000

• Extra pay for stops, detention, layovers and breakdowns

• Accessorial pay on flatbed and tanker loads, plus per diem for OTR

• Bonus pay for inspections, for running the Northeast and for going over 3000 miles

Home time and routes

• Local jobs are home nightly; OTR and regional home time depends on the division

• Drop yards in Escanaba and Lansing, MI and in Kaukauna and Milwaukee, WI

• Drop-and-hook freight and no slip seating

• You work with operations to build a schedule that fits you

What you'll do

• Haul freight safely and on schedule, plan your routes and secure your loads

• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and keep ELD logs and paperwork accurate

• Follow all DOT, state and federal rules and deal courteously with customers and dispatch

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and a current DOT medical certificate

• At least 1 year of verifiable CDL-A experience

• No DUIs, drug convictions or DOT-recordable accidents on your record

• Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations
