About this job
Our company is hiring recent CDL-A graduates around Ann Arbor, Michigan, for a paid mentor program. You ride along with a seasoned trainer first, then move into your own truck. No driving experience is needed.
Training
- Spend 4–6 weeks on the road with an experienced mentor, and get paid while you learn.
- Topics include safe driving, trip planning, pickups and deliveries, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and working with dispatch.
- The goal is to prepare you for the everyday work of an over-the-road driver.
Pay
- After training you drive solo and can earn $1,600–$1,800 per week.
- Pay arrives by weekly direct deposit.

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL, earned at an accredited CDL school.
- Clean motor vehicle record.
- Ability to meet Department of Transportation qualification rules.
