CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver — $1,600 Weekly Training Pay Guarantee

Our company in Monroe, MI is hiring CDL-A drivers to deliver food and food-service products to restaurants and other customers. Solo and team positions are available, with a mix of route lengths and some home-daily runs.

Pay

• $1,600 weekly guarantee while training, paid every two weeks

• Average annual earnings of $90,000+, with the option to work extra days for more

• $10,000 sign-on bonus (terms apply)

Routes and equipment

• Team or solo driving, on 4-day or 5-day routes, plus some that get you home daily

• Occasional layovers during training until your own route is set

• Automatic tractors from a newer, well-maintained fleet

• Runs include local, over-the-road, shuttle and overnight work

What you'll do

• Inspect your truck and trailer before and after each trip

• Check the load and count items against invoices

• Deliver orders on schedule, unload them and carry them into customer storage areas

• Check for damage, get delivery signatures, and collect cash or checks where required

• Take back returns, finish paperwork and keep your hours-of-service log

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A and at least 6 months of commercial driving experience

• Age 21 or older, with a high school diploma or GED

• No problems on your driving record for the past 3 years

• Pass a drug test, background check and road test

• Current DOT medical card, or ability to get one

• Able to lift typically 10-35 lbs, and up to roughly 60-90 lbs at some locations, using a two-wheeler or lift gate
