CDL-A Night Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $82K–$97K/yr

Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to run restaurant deliveries out of its Denver, CO distribution center, working nights with every Saturday off. You'll drive late-model equipment on set routes and be home each day after your shift.

Pay

• Guaranteed minimum pay of $82,000 to $97,000 per year for 40 hours, based on your driving experience

• Overtime paid for anything worked beyond 40 hours a week

Schedule

• Shifts run Sunday through Friday, starting between 6pm and 10pm, finishing when the route is done

• Saturdays off for everyone

• Typically 40 to 45+ hours weekly depending on available routes

• Some flexibility expected around weekends, holidays and shift rotation as business needs require

What you'll haul

• Deliver food and supplies to 4 to 6 Chick-fil-A restaurants per shift

• Unload and stage product at each stop, handle pallet and cart pickups/returns, and submit the paperwork

• Help unload the truck and put equipment away back at the distribution center

Equipment

• New automatic Kenworth T680 tractors with leather air-ride seats, GPS, and backup/side cameras

• 48-foot Great Dane trailers with electric side lift gates and tandem lights

• Battery-powered pallet jacks for moving product into restaurants

• Samsara in-cab devices for navigation, parking guidance at each stop, and ELD charging

• On-site mechanics to keep trucks running

Requirements

• Class A CDL issued by your state of residence

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience

• Minimum age 21

• High school diploma or GED

• Must live within 60 miles of the Denver distribution center

• Clean DOT application, MVR, medical card, background check and drug screen

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the last 3 years

• No more than 2 of the same moving violation type (max 3 total) in the last 3 years, and no DUI/DWI in the past 10 years

• Comfortable working in temperatures from -10F to 100F, mostly at night and in all weather

• Able to lift up to 65 lbs repeatedly per shift and occasionally use equipment to move up to 2,000 lbs

• Reads, writes and speaks English well enough to follow instructions, complete paperwork and read labels, scanners and signage

• About 5% travel for operator and supplier visits or conferences
