About this job
Our company is hiring a CDL-A flatbed driver to run freight from Colorado to the East Coast and back, with no prior experience needed.
Pay
- Starts at $0.65 per loaded mile, with drivers typically earning $7000 to $10000 per month
- Extra pay available: $200 for LTL stops, $50 for tarping, $100 performance bonus, $100 for an extra drop, and $50 for layover
- Receipts for fuel and tolls are covered by the company
What you'll haul
- Flatbed and stepdeck trailers
- Frequent runs between Colorado and the East Coast
Requirements
- No prior driving experience needed
- Solid understanding of trucking rules and regulations
- Comfortable with long hours and regular travel
What you'll do
- Map out routes and hit delivery windows
- Track driving hours, rest breaks, and mileage, and keep fuel and toll receipts
- Follow size, weight, route, parking, and break rules along with company policy
- Position the truck for loading and unloading
- Confirm delivery details before heading out
- Report any equipment issues, accidents, or violations
