About this job
Our company, a Colorado-based custom wood components maker, needs a CDL-A driver to handle local, regional and interstate (CO to KS) deliveries of finished cabinet parts. You'll run company-owned cargo vans and box trucks on daily routes.
Pay
- $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 40.0 per week
What you'll haul
- Cabinet fronts, drawer boxes, moldings and other finished wood products
- Deliveries within Colorado and into Kansas
Responsibilities
- Drive cargo vans and box trucks on assigned local and regional routes
- Load, unload and secure products to prevent damage during transport
- Check shipments against manifests and flag any discrepancies
- Collect delivery signatures or electronic proof of delivery
- Complete vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Keep accurate delivery paperwork and report exceptions daily
- Assist with logistics and shipping tasks when not out on deliveries
Requirements
- Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- At least 1 year driving cargo vans or box trucks
- At least 1 year in shipping or logistics work
- High school diploma or GED
- Current DOT medical certification
- Comfortable using GPS and basic mobile apps
- English proficiency required
