CDL-A Local Truck Driver — Home Daily, No-Touch Freight

This is a home-daily driving job out of Opelika, AL, running loads to Atlanta, Birmingham, and southern Georgia. Freight is no-touch, and you can expect 1,200 to 1,800 miles weekly.

Pay

• 5-day schedule: $1,200 per week

• 6-day schedule: $1,300 to $1,550 per week

• Wage range listed: $1,200.00 to $1,500.00 per week

• Short hauls under 51 miles pay $40 per load

• Stop pay on the 5-day schedule: $10 per stop

• Stop pay on the 6-day schedule: $10 for the first stop, $15 for each additional stop

Home time

You're home every day. This is a local route, not over-the-road.

What you'll haul

Freight moves without you having to touch it. Routes run mainly between Opelika, AL and Atlanta, Birmingham, and southern Georgia, with some backhauls and wait time at customer stops built into the work.

Schedule

Choose between a 5-day or 6-day workweek. Shifts can fall during the day or night, and you'll need to be available weekends, with holiday work possible too.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Open to both trainees and experienced drivers

• Must live within 40 miles of Opelika, AL 36801

• No endorsements needed

• Available for day or night shifts, weekends, and possibly holidays
