CDL-A Local Truck Driver — Home Daily, Average $1,600/Week

Local CDL-A slip-seat driving role based out of Johnstown, NY, with daily home time and no-touch freight. Routes stay in the local area, and both new and experienced drivers are welcome to apply.

Pay

• Average weekly earnings of $1,600, starting from $1,600.00 per week

• Pay is mileage-based, with drivers typically running about 2,200 miles weekly

• Short loads under 50 miles pay $25

• Stop pay is $10 for the first stop and $15 for each stop after that

Home time

• Slip-seat drivers return home every day

• Both day and night shifts are offered

• Expect 5 or 6 working days per week, including weekends

• Holiday shifts are part of the schedule

• Local freight only

• Runs on a slip-seat setup with live unloading

• Slip-seat drivers handle no-touch freight

Requirements

• Must hold a valid our company CDL

• Open to trainees as well as first-seat or experienced drivers

• No extra endorsements needed

• Must satisfy DOT and company standards

• Owner-operators will not be considered

• Drivers need to live within 65 miles of the Johnstown, NY / Albany, NY hiring area (ZIP 12095)
