About this job
EVO is looking for a CDL-A driver to run local US Mail and freight routes out of Indianapolis, IN. You'll be home every day on a part-time schedule.
Pay
- Base rate of $25.76 per hour plus $5.33 HWP, totaling $31.09 per hour
- HWP is paid for up to 40 hours weekly and goes toward funding group health coverage for those who qualify
- Paid orientation and paid quarterly safety training
- Referral program pays up to $1,000 for each driver you bring on
Schedule
- Part-time position, up to 20 hours per week
- Shifts run Monday through Sunday, either 11:30-17:45 or 07:00-12:30
What you'll haul
- US Mail and freight on local routes
Requirements
- At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience
- Clean MVR and PSP record
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs overhead, push and pull wheeled carts over 100 lbs, climb in and out of the truck using three points of contact, access the catwalk to couple the trailer, release the fifth-wheel lock, crank the landing gear, and check the trailer pin connection by bending underneath it
- Able to sit and drive for at least 4 hours straight without a break
