About this job
Our company is looking for a Class A truck driver to run a local route out of Schenectady, NY, getting you home every day. You'll haul no-touch paper roll freight solo, with weekly pay around $2135.
Pay
- $30.50 per hour, paid weekly
- About 60 hours per week
- Weekly earnings around $2135

Schedule
- Works Sunday through Thursday
- Dispatch between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM
- Home daily on this local route
What you'll haul
- Solo runs to Piscataway, NJ and Buffalo, NY
- Day cab pulling 48' doubles
- No-touch freight: paper rolls
Requirements
- Doubles endorsement required
- At least 5 years of Class A driving experience
- Minimum age 21
- Must pass our company's drug test, background check, motor vehicle check, DOT physical and road test
- Previous employer drug and alcohol verification covering the last 3 years
- Valid CDL with the needed endorsements
- Qualifying tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years
- Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, rules and procedures
- Some assignments may require added screening such as employment or education checks, or customer badging requirements

Responsibilities
- Follow applicable laws, regulations and company standards
- Watch for and reduce safety risks
- Keep accurate logs and records
- Help load or unload freight when a customer requires it
- Other duties as assigned
