CDL-A Local/Regional Truck Driver — $0.55–$0.69/Mile

Our company's private fleet is hiring a Class A CDL driver for its Terrell, TX facility, offering mile-based pay plus extra pay for related tasks, consistent weekly scheduling, and a full benefits package starting on day one.

Pay

• Mileage rate of $0.55 to $0.69 per mile, with actual earnings depending on location and miles driven

• Local route drivers can reach up to $87,000 annually; regional route drivers can reach up to $110,000 in year one

• Extra activity pay for tasks like hooking, loading/unloading, layovers, weekend driving, and evening shifts

• A flat Average Daily Pay of $240 applies for qualifying days such as holidays, bereavement, jury duty, or full-day company events

Home time

• Weekly home time with consecutive days off

• Local assignments bring you home every evening; city routes bring you home daily

What you'll haul

• No-touch freight delivery using modern tractor-trailer equipment

What you'll do

• Inspect your tractor-trailer before, during, and after each run

• Plan your route, coordinate with your team, and keep shipments on schedule

• Complete logs and paperwork accurately per DOT and company rules

• Follow traffic laws and local driving restrictions to stay on time

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a Hazmat endorsement, or willingness to obtain one within 120 days of hire

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or completion of our company's Fleet Development Academy

• Clean driving record: no more than two moving violations, no serious violations, and no preventable collisions in the last 3 years

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the past 10 years and no history of a preventable fatal or catastrophic crash

• Must live, or be willing to relocate, within 250 miles of the assigned facility within 90 days of hire
