CDL-A Local Night Driver — $300/Shift, Home Daily

Our company needs CDL-A drivers for local overnight runs out of Brooklyn, NY. You'll run a set regional route and sleep in your own bed every night.

Pay

• $300 per shift (pay range listed as $250.00-$300.00 per day)

• Paid every two weeks, with no week held back

• W-2 employee status

Home time and schedule

• Home every day, no over-the-road trips

• Shifts typically start between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM and run about 12 hours

• You'll get your weekly schedule ahead of time

• Trucks leave from and return to 12701 Flatlands Ave, Brooklyn, NY

What you'll haul

• Day cab trucks pulling 53' dry van trailers

• No-touch freight, mostly drop-and-hook with some live unloads

• Routes cover NY, PA, NJ, DE and CT, with a common run between Jamaica, NY and York, PA

• Routes stay fairly steady but can shift depending on business needs

Bonuses

• $350 for referring another driver

• $50 for a clean DOT inspection

• Extra pay for performance and completed runs

• Extra pay for holidays worked

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL

• At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience

• Comfortable driving manual transmission

• Experience handling tractor-trailers and 53' vans

• No accidents in the last year, and a solid driving record is preferred

• Must clear a DOT drug test and have no open Clearinghouse violations

• Must satisfy DOT/FMCSA qualification standards

• Need your own way to get to the Brooklyn yard
