CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver — Home Daily, Drop & Hook

This is a local intermodal driving role based near Wilmer/Hutchins, TX, moving containers on chassis around the Dallas–Fort Worth area with daily home time.

Pay

• Mileage rate of $0.55 per mile

• Per-load pay of $29

• Weekly earnings typically run $1,000–$1,100 based on reports

Home time

• You're home every day

• Choose between day or night shifts

• Work either a Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday rotation, with occasional extra work as needed

What you'll haul

• Containers on chassis, picked up and dropped within roughly 250 miles of the Wilmer/Hutchins yard

• Freight is mostly drop-and-hook, though you may also handle live loading, live unloading, or preloaded trailers

• You'll drive slip-seated day cabs, and routes can shift due to traffic or weather

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL

• At least 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience (first-seat drivers encouraged to apply)

• A clean driving history

• Current DOT medical certification

• Must be able to secure containers on chassis and handle intermodal equipment safely

• SAP program drivers are not eligible

• Must be available for the assigned day or night schedule
