CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver — Home Daily, Avg $1,300–$1,500/wk

This local intermodal job has you hauling containers around NJ, PA, NY, CT, and MA, with nightly returns home. You'll work with preloaded trailers, live loads and unloads, and drop-and-hook freight, mostly no-touch, and dispatch tries to keep you out of NYC when possible.

Pay

• Weekly earnings average $1,300 to $1,500, with a stated wage range of $1,400.00 to $1,500.00 per week

• Paid weekly

• Expect to run roughly 1,100 to 1,800 miles each week

Schedule

• Both day and night shifts are offered

• You'll need to be available on weekends

• Working major holidays is optional

• The operation keeps running through bad weather, except when roads become unsafe

What you'll haul

• Intermodal containers on local routes through NJ, PA, NY, CT, and MA

• Mix of preloaded trailers, live loads/unloads, and drop-and-hook freight

• Freight is mostly no-touch

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Prior CDL-A driving experience required

• No endorsements needed

• Must live within 50 miles of Avenel, NJ (07001)

• Available for either day or night shifts, including weekends
