CDL-A Local Flatbed Driver — Home Daily, Manual Transmission

This is a direct-hire, local flatbed opening in Jeffersonville, Indiana for experienced CDL-A drivers hauling steel. You'll run a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends generally free, and you'll be home every day.

Pay

• Pay is a percentage of the load rate, scaled by your experience and tenure

• Average weekly earnings run around $1,500, depending on the loads you run

• You keep 50% of any stop-off, detention or no-load charges

• Per diem of up to $80 a day is available depending on time away and eligibility

Home time

• Home daily

• Monday through Friday, no weekend work

• Shifts start between 5am and 6am

• Routes change week to week, typically 2-3 stops per run

What you'll haul

• Steel freight on local routes

• No-touch freight: you oversee and secure the load rather than loading it yourself

Requirements

• Minimum age 22

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience in the past 5 years

• At least 2 years specifically hauling flatbed

• Comfortable driving a manual-transmission tractor-trailer

• Valid DOT medical card

• Must pass a clean MVR check, background check and drug screening
