CDL-A Local Dry Van Driver — Home Daily, Avg $1,300/wk

Haul palletized water on a dedicated local account in the Phoenix area. You'll be home every day with a 5-day schedule and two consecutive days off, running a day cab with dry van trailers on no-touch freight.

Pay

• Average weekly pay of $1,300 (about $66,000 a year)

• $0.65 per mile

• $25 per stop

• $20 an hour for detention after the first hour

• Paid every week

Schedule

• Home daily

• 5 days on, 2 consecutive days off

• Typically 10 to 12 hours per shift

• Two shift options: Tuesday through Saturday starting at 11:00 AM, or Friday through Tuesday starting at 5:00 AM

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years

• Minimum age 22

• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years (some restrictions apply)

• No more than 1 preventable DOT-recordable accident in the last 3 years

• Must register with the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse before starting

• Sufficient English skills to talk with the public, read signs and signals, respond to officials, and handle paperwork

• Must meet all other applicable DOT rules; additional qualifications may apply
