CDL-A Heavy Haul Truck Driver — $26–$32/hr

Our company needs a seasoned CDL-A heavy haul driver to move oversized and overweight construction equipment to job sites in and around Mansfield, TX. You'll handle big machinery like excavators, bulldozers and trenchers while following DOT and Texas rules for oversized loads.

Pay

• $26.00 to $32.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Heavy construction equipment and materials requiring oversized or overweight transport

• Machines such as excavators, bulldozers and trenchers

What you'll do

• Load, secure and balance cargo so it meets weight limits and DOT/Texas rules

• Check your truck before and after each trip to confirm it's safe to drive

• Keep accurate records of hours worked, maintenance and deliveries

• Map out routes that account for height, weight and width limits

• Help load and unload equipment when needed

• Stay in contact with dispatch, project managers and site supervisors

• Handle basic maintenance tasks and flag mechanical problems to the maintenance crew

• Follow safety rules on every job site

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving history

• At least 3 years hauling heavy equipment in construction or a similar setting

• Familiarity with DOT and Texas regulations on oversized and overweight loads

• Comfortable driving a manual 18-speed transmission

• Air Brake Endorsement needed if the truck has air brakes

• Careful, safety-focused approach to the job

• Able to work in different weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs

• Dependable, on time, and open to flexible hours including overtime
