CDL-A Hazmat/Tanker Driver — $75,000–$150,000/Year

Pay

• Earning potential of $75,000 to $150,000 per year

• $5,000 sign-on bonus for Hazmat/Tanker endorsed hires who also hold a TWIC card

What you'll haul

• Liquid materials in tanker trailers

• Routes vary between long-haul and regional depending on business needs

Equipment

• Late-model Kenworth and Peterbilt tractors

• Electronic logging devices and GPS units

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements

• At least 2 years of Class A driving experience

• A minimum of 6 months hauling liquid tankers within the past 3 years

• Must be 23 or older

• Able to get or already hold a TWIC card

• Must pass a pre-employment road test, DOT physical, and drug and alcohol screening

What you'll do

• Operate a tractor-trailer carrying liquid freight safely

• Complete routine vehicle inspections, including walking, bending and climbing

• Stay current on DOT compliance requirements

• Interact professionally with customers

• Attend required safety meetings and ongoing training
