CDL-A HazMat Driver — Regional Route, Home Weekends, $34/hr

Our company is hiring a Class A HazMat driver for a regional route delivering compressed gas cylinders, with weekends off and steady, year-round work.

Pay

• $34 per hour

• $3,000 sign-on bonus

• Up to $2,000 annual safe driving bonus

• Up to $400 annual reimbursement for boots and pants

Home time

• Home every weekend

• Out Monday through Thursday or Friday, with 3 to 4 overnights a week depending on the zone

• Territory split into 4 zones, one per week, so you run the same area all week

• You stay in a hotel, not a sleeper cab

What you'll haul

• Compressed gas cylinders (oxygen, helium, acetylene, carbon dioxide) and hard goods to repeat customers

• Brand new tractor and trailer

What you'll do

• Run your scheduled regional route, delivering full cylinders and picking up empties

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Keep manifests and paperwork accurate

• Maintain customer relationships and keep the truck clean and professional

• Follow DOT and OSHA rules

Requirements

• Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 21 years old

• 1 year of driving experience, or driving school in the last 4 years

• Clean record: no at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years

• Must meet DOT physical standards

• Able to read Safety Data Sheets and use basic computer order entry

• Able to lift 25-75 lbs regularly, up to 100+ lbs occasionally

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
