CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver — Up to $96,000/Year, Weekends Home

Our company is looking for experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers to run regional and OTR lanes. You'll haul specialized flatbed freight with steady, year-round volume and get home most weekends.

Pay

• Annual earnings range from $84,000-$96,000 depending on experience

• Weekly average pay of $1,625-$1,845

• Starting rate of $.63-$.675 CPM for regional and OTR runs

• Weekly guaranteed pay

• $1,100 Pre-Employment Evaluation (PRE) pay, recently increased

• $1,100 paid for Flatbed Business Unit training, plus travel, lodging, breakfast and lunch covered during training

• Performance bonuses available

• $3,000 sign-on bonus if you have 6+ months of flatbed OTR experience

• CDL-A referral bonuses of $1,000-$2,000, and $500 for non-CDL referrals

Home time

• Home most weekends

• Dispatch plans around your schedule so you know when you'll be back

What you'll haul

• Specialized flatbed freight requiring tarping and securement

• Average 2,000-2,300 miles per week

• You're paid for tarping, detention and layover time, and dispatch factors in loading delays and weather so schedules stay realistic

Equipment

• Late-model trucks equipped with chains, straps, binders and tarps

• Collision mitigation with active braking

• Stoneridge MirrorEye camera system

• Tire pressure monitoring and a driver portal app

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 21 years old

• Must live within Maverick's hiring area

• New CDL-A holders are welcome to apply

• Open to drivers from any background, including food service, military, medical, warehouse, towing, oil field, IT, farming and construction
